The paper sculpture "Cat Series" is intended as a record of cats I have known in my life that I have juxtaposed against various backgrounds of well-known artist's works. In the case of "American Gothic", I have substituted the two main subjects of the painting with "Dusty and Marmalade", two beautiful cats that were always together. In the case of "Christo's Cat", I portrayed "Tinker", a cheeky little black and white kitten, ripping through one of Christo's well known, canvas-wrapped works. There will be more in this series within the next twelve months.
